Indian Spring is the first hollyhock I ever grew, and it's still one of the best. If started early, it blooms the first year from seed. Then it blooms spectacularly the following July.
Hollyhocks are popular, old-fashioned flowers, used to beautify outhouses, sheds, fences and walls. But you don't have to have an eyesore on your property to enjoy these wonderful flowers.
Hollyhock 'Indian Spring' was an All-America Selections winner in 1939. Hardy in zones 3-10.
