A graceful, low-maintenance perennial that looks good from spring to fall. Narrowleaf bluestar blooms in early summer with clusters of pale blue flowers. In the fall, the delicate foliage turns golden-yellow.
Amonia hubrichtii is native to the south-central U.S. This long-lived, shrubby perennial goes well with ornamental grasses and other prairie plants. It tolerates a wide range of conditions. Also known as Hubricht's Bluestar and Arkansas Amsonia. Hardy in zones 4-9.
