Sand pink blooms in mid summer with white, fringed flowers on small mounds of narrow, green leaves. The flowers are sweetly fragrant.
Dianthus arenarius is a good plant for the rock garden or the front of the border. In my garden, it's combined with geum. Hardy in zones 3-8.
