This antique sweet pea has cherry-red and white, striped flowers with a sweet fragrance. It has been a favorite for over 100 years.
Sweet pea 'America' was introduced in 1896. It's a vigorous and easy-to-grow variety. In my garden, I grow it next to one of David Austin's beautiful, apricot-yellow roses.
