This fantastic variety has deep red leaves that are a real standout in the garden. The young leaves are great for salads, or they can be cooked like spinach. It self-sows freely, which makes it a good spring vegetable. It's the first "salad green" in the garden each year.
Orach 'Magenta Magic' is beautiful in all its stages, even when bolting. The plants eventually reach 4 feet tall and are covered with flat, red seed pods that mature to tan. Nice in flower gardens, vegetable gardens and containers.
