Penstemon 'Pygmaeus' proves that drought-tolerant plants can look delicately pretty. The pale lavender flowers have a white lip, which gives it a nice, two-tone effect. This is a treasure for the rock garden.
Penstemon 'Pygmaeus' is shorter in height and has smaller leaves than Penstemon hirsutus. The leaves are dark green with a reddish tint in winter. Also known as Dwarf Hairy Penstemon or Beardtongue.
