This lovely penstemon blooms in late spring to early summer with elegant lavender and white flowers. This is a medium-height penstemon with bushy growth and soft green leaves.
Penstemon hirsutus is drought tolerant and needs well-drained soil, but it's one of the easiest penstemons to grow. Also known as Eastern Beardtongue.
Hardy in zones 4-9. Stratify 3-4 weeks.
