Also known as husk tomato. Tomatillos are related to ground cherries. In our salsa recipe, we combine tomatillos with tomatoes, peppers, purple onion, garlic, and fresh herbs like basil, thyme and oregano.

Sowing Tomatillo Seeds:
Sow indoors 6 weeks before the last frost date, 1/8" deep. Can be sown outdoors in warm climates. Space plants 24" apart. Full sun. Easy to grow. Culture is similar to tomatoes.
