This large, pale yellow tomato surprised me. It was very late, and I had almost given up on it. But then it suddenly ripened a bunch, and I was quite impressed with the flavor. It isn't overly sweet or heavy tasting like some yellow tomatoes. I would describe it as refreshing and lightly sweet with citrus overtones.
Lillian's Yellow Heirloom is a moderate producer of 10-16 oz. fruits that are variable in shape. Mine were mostly heart-shaped. The pearly yellow color is beautiful. Potato-leaved plants. Originally from Lillian Bruce of Tennessee.
