HomeChinese trumpet lily is relatively easy to grow from seed, blooming the third year after sowing. The plants eventually grow to 4-6' tall with huge, fragrant flowers in shades of pink, purple, white, cream, yellow, gold and orange.
Chinese trumpet lilies grow well in both full sun and part shade. They can also be grown in large containers. Hardy in zones 4-8.

Sowing Chinese Trumpet Lily Seeds
Start Chinese trumpet lily seeds indoors 10 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4" deep. Germination begins in about 4 weeks. Full sun to part shade.
