Cilantro 'Leisure'

Cilantro 'Leisure' is a highly productive, slow-bolting variety. The finely cut leaves are large and very flavorful with a stronger flavor than grocery store cilantro. I grow this variety in my flower garden because the foliage makes a lovely filler between the perennials, and the small, white flowers attract beneficial insects

Cilantro is popular in Indian and Mexican cuisine. The ground seeds (called coriander) are essential in curries.

Sowing Cilantro 'Leisure' Seeds

Sow cilantro seeds outdoors in late spring to early summer, 1/4" deep. Space the rows 12" apart. Thin the plants to 4" apart. Full sun.
