HomeDwarf white cosmos is an early-blooming variety that makes a wonderful filler in the late summer garden. It goes with everything, but it looks truly stunning with blue flowers like blue pimpernel or Chinese forget-me-not.
Cosmos 'Dwarf White' is my personal favorite, and I can't say enough good things about it. It's a compact variety, so it doesn't shade out other plants. Try it near the front of the border. It's also nice in containers.
Cosmos bipinnatus attracts butterflies and beneficial insects, making it a useful companion plant in the vegetable garden. Deer resistant.
