Larkspur 'Fancy Blue Purple' is a stunning variety with two-tone, purple-blue flowers on tall stems with good branching. It blooms prolifically from late spring to midsummer. It's shown here with Digitalis laevigata.
My daughter, Megan, owner of Megan's Heirloom Seeds, grows this wonderful larkspur in her garden in Ogden, UT (zone 5). We are working to improve the variety, which is a little unstable. We remove off-color plants and resow seeds from the best plants. Our strain is getting better every year.

Sowing Larkspur 'Fancy Blue Purple' Seeds
Sow larkspur seeds outdoors in early spring. Needs cold temperatures to germinate. Sow on the surface or barely cover the seeds with soil. Sow in the fall in mild winter areas. Full sun to part shade.
