HomeBlack Hungarian is a chili pepper with 2-3", dark purple fruits, ripening to red. The flavor grows hotter and sweeter as it ripens. The purple flowers add to its ornamental value. Good for pepper jelly, pickling, roasting, soup and salsa.
Hungarian heirloom.
Sowing Pepper 'Black Hungarian' Seeds
Start pepper seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4" deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 15".
