Aster alpinus 'Pinkie'

Aster 'Pinkie' has large, rich pink flowers in May and June. The daisy-like flowers attract butterflies and beneficial insects.

Alpine aster 'Pinkie' is nice at the edge of a path or in the rock garden. It goes well with other early-blooming perennials, and it tolerates poor, well-drained soil.

Aster alpinus 'Pinkie' was introduced by Jelitto Perennial Seeds in 1999. It is drought tolerant and deer resistant. Hardy in zones 3-8.
