Chinese Trumpet Lily Mix
Lilium

25 seeds
Chinese trumpet lilies are relatively easy to grow from seed. They bloom the third year after sowing. The plants grow to 4-6' tall with huge, fragrant flowers in shades of pink, purple, white, yellow, gold, and orange.
Chinese trumpet lilies prefer rich, well-drained soil. They grow well in large containers, which can be overwintered in a garage. This is the best way to grow them in areas with poor soil or gopher problems. I use 7-gallon nursery pots.
This is a mixture of hand-crossed seeds from the following parents: Beijing Moon, Christian, Da Capo, Ice Follies, Golden Splendor, Orange Planet, Rising Moon, Shell Seeker, Summer Palace, and William.
