Cucumber 'Poona Keera'

Poona Keera cucumber is a rare variety with light green fruits that mature to brown with a crackling skin. Of course, you'll want to eat them at the light green stage when they are young and tender. The flavor is usually mild, but sometimes bitter.

Sowing Cucumber Seeds

Sow cucumber seeds outdoors after the last frost date, 1/2" deep. Or start indoors 3 weeks early. Space plants 15" apart in rows spaced 4' apart. Or sow in hills spaced 4' apart. Thin to 3 plants per hill. Full sun.
