Digitalis purpurea 'Monstrosa Purple'

Digitalis 'Monstrosa Purple' looks like a regular foxglove until you get to the top of the plant. Each flowering spike is topped with a large, bowl-shaped, purple flower with exotic speckles. It is hard to decide if this flower is beautiful or just weird. Either way, we love it!

Digitalis purpurea is a hardy biennial in zones 4-9.
