Dracocephalum 'Blue Moon'

Dracocephalum 'Blue Moon' has deep blue, hooded flowers in late spring to early summer. I'm very fond of it because it blooms early in the season before most other perennials get started.

Dracocephalum ruyschiana looks great with other early bloomers like aubrieta, Alyssum saxatile, Iberis gibraltarica, Lychnis viscaria and columbine.

Also known as Dragon's Head. It likes afternoon shade in hot climates.
