Four O'Clock 'Orange Crush' is an exciting new variety with bright orange flowers that develop a little salmon coloring as they mature.
Here in Utah, it is common to see four o'clocks planted on the south side of houses, where they may perennialize or self-sow reliably in zone 5. They are drought-tolerant once established.
Mirabilis jalapa is hardy in zones 7b-11. Grow it as a self-sowing annual in cold zones.
