Gaillardia 'Burgundy' produces lots of 3" wine-red flowers. It has a long bloom season starting in midsummer and continuing into fall, especially if the plants are deadheaded. The daisy-like flowers attract butterflies and beneficial insects.

Gaillardia aristata is a native wildflower with an informal, southwestern look. It is commonly referred to as Indian Blanket Flower. It looks great in both the perennial border and the wildflower garden.

Gaillardia aristata 'Burgundy' blooms the first year from seed. It tolerates heat, drought and poor soil. Deer resistant.
