Geum 'Blazing Sunset'

Geum chiloense

$3.75

50 seeds

Geum 'Blazing Sunset' has fully double, scarlet-red flowers that appear in early summer. The large blooms almost look like miniature roses. They are very pretty, especially when mature plants produce loads of them. It makes a bold statement in the garden.

The scarlet-red flowers of Geum 'Blazing Sunset' look fabulous in warm color schemes. In my garden, they are planted in front of a golden-yellow rose with Diathus arenarius to provide a striking contrast.

Geum 'Blazing Sunset' is a first-year flowering perennial with a long bloom season. It is a Fleuroselect Quality Award winner. Also known as Geum 'Red Dragon'.
