Aunt Molly's ground cherry is a productive variety with a sweet and slightly tangy flavor. Good for fresh eating, as well as adding to sauces, pies and jams, thanks to its high pectin content. Children love these tasty little morsels!

Sowing Ground Cherry Seeds

Start ground cherry seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4" deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 24".
