Dwarf Blue Curled Scotch kale is our favorite leafy green in autumn. The frosty nights make it even sweeter. We steam it, then toss it with roasted garlic, butter and lemon juice. It is healthy, tender and delicious.

Sowing Kale Seeds

Sow kale seeds outdoors in late spring to summer, 1/4" deep. Thin to 12" apart. Or start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Full sun to part shade.
