Lathyrus latifolius is a fast-growing perennial vine with fuchsia-pink flowers throughout the summer. Some plants produce white or pale pink flowers, but they are rare in this mixture.
Lathyrus latifolius makes a good groundcover for a large space. It can be used to cover posts, trellises, and chain-link fences. It is a vigorous self-sower, which is problematic for small gardens unless deadheaded or grown in a pot.
Also known as Perennial Sweet Pea.
