Lavender 'Hidcote Superior'

Lavender 'Hidcote Superior' is a compact selection that blooms from July to September with deep violet-blue flowers. It has a darker color and a more upright habit than Munstead lavender.

Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote Superior' was introduced in 2001 by Jelitto Perennial Seeds. It is a very consistent strain, making it perfect for hedges. It needs well-drained soil, and it looks wonderful with roses.
