Lettuce 'Blushed Butter Oak'

'Blushed Butter Oak' lettuce has oak-shaped, green leaves with a pinkish-red blush. The blushing increases as the plants mature. It is very pretty, and the flavor is excellent. In a 2025 taste test, it beat all the other lettuces we grew. It lacks heat-tolerance, but it performs well in cold weather.

'Blushed Butter Oak' lettuce was developed by Frank Morton of Wild Garden Seed.
