Lettuce 'Mayan Jaguar'

'Mayan Jaguar' lettuce doesn't just have a cool name - it is also very tasty. The dark green, ruffled leaves are splashed with dark red spots, and it has blushed pink hearts. This crunchy romaine is slow to develop, but it holds its sweetness longer than many of the lettuces we have tried.

Sowing Lettuce Seeds

Sow lettuce seeds outdoors in early spring in very shallow furrows. Lightly cover with soil. Thin to 8" apart. Full sun to part shade.
