Lettuce 'Tom Thumb'

If you like miniature vegetables, then 'Tom Thumb' lettuce is for you. It has the delicious butterhead flavor we all love in a compact head that is just big enough for 2 servings. The loose heads grow to 6" in diameter with crumpled, light green leaves and a creamy core.

You just can't find a cuter lettuce than 'Tom Thumb'. It is perfect for early harvest and succession planting. This is an English heirloom from the 1850s.

Sowing Lettuce Seeds
