Lettuce 'Tom Thumb'

If you like miniature vegetables, then Tom Thumb lettuce is for you. It has the delicious butterhead flavor we all love in a compact head that is just big enough for 2 servings. The loose heads grow to 6" in diameter with crumpled light green leaves and a creamy core.

You just can't find a cuter lettuce than Tom Thumb. Perfect for early harvest and succession planting. English heirloom, 1850's.

Sowing Lettuce Seeds

Sow lettuce seeds outdoors in early spring. Sow in very shallow furrows, and lightly cover with soil. Thin to 8" apart. Full sun to part shade.
