Lunaria annua 'Alba Variegata'

This wonderful lunaria has variegated leaves that are quite stunning. The variegation doesn't develop until the end of the first year. When the leaves finally got their color, they looked great all winter and spring against the north foundation of my house.

Lunaria 'Alba Variegata' blooms in late spring with fragrant white flowers, followed by disc-shaped, papery seed pods, which can be used in dried flower arrangements.

Common names include Silver Dollar, Honesty, and Money Plant. Lunaria annua is a hardy biennial in zones 4-8. Shade-tolerant. Easy to grow. Self-sows. Also known as Lunaria 'Variegated White'.
