Lupine 'Russell Hybrids' blooms from late spring to early summer with tall, dense spikes of flowers. This famous mix includes red, pink, yellow, blue, and white flowers in solids and bicolors.

Russell lupines are among the showiest flowers in late spring, when few other plants are in bloom. They self-sow nicely, and the colorful flowers attract hummingbirds. Lupines are host plants for Frosted Elfin and Eastern Tailed-Blue butterflies.

Also known as Lupinus polyphyllus 'Russell Mixture' and 'Band of Nobles'. All parts of the plants are poisonous. Deer-resistant.
