Morning Glory 'Heavenly Blue'

'Heavenly Blue' is the most popular morning glory of all time for good reason. The huge, sky-blue flowers are very impressive; they may be the truest blue flowers ever.

'Heavenly Blue' morning glory is an heirloom selection from the 1920s. It is also known as 'Clark's Heavenly Blue' morning glory.

Ipomoea tricolor self sows in warm zones, but it blooms late and is less vigorous in northern climates. In spite of the drawbacks, it may be a good choice for northern gardeners who don't want an excess of self-sown seedlings.
