Nemophila 'Penny Black'

Nemophila 'Penny Black' blooms from late spring to early summer with a unique color. The compact plants are covered with 1-inch, violet-black flowers edged in white.

Nemophila 'Penny Black' grows quickly from an early spring sowing, making it a good bulb cover. Try it near the front of the border, in a rockery, or at the edge of a path. It's an excellent choice for containers and hanging baskets.

Nemophila menziesii is a California wildflower that prefers the cool temperatures of spring. It performs well in full sun to part shade with regular watering, and it self-sows where it's happy.
