Penstemon cobaea

Penstemon cobaea has large, light to dark purple flowers that bloom in early to midsummer. It is one of the showiest penstemons, and it makes a nice companion plant for roses.

Penstemon cobaea is more shade-tolerant than most other species. The large, tubular flowers attract hummingbirds.
