Penstemon laevigatus

Penstemon laevigatus has white flowers with a lavender-pink wash. The smooth, semi-evergreen leaves are about 6 inches long. It has a prolonged bloom season from early to late summer, and it tolerates shade and moisture better than most other species do.

Our original seeds came from John Ambler of Lancaster, PA, who collected it on the side of a highway. It was identified by botanist Tim Draede.
