Lipstick is a productive pepper for northern gardens and areas with cooler summers. The 4-inch-long fruits are generally conical in shape. They turn bright red when ripe. The thick, sweet flesh is good for both cooking and fresh eating.

Sowing Pepper Seeds

Start pepper seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4" deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 15".
