Pepper 'Mulato Isleno'

Mulato Isleno is a mildly hot, Poblano-type pepper that is larger and sweeter with smoky, chocolate undertones. Its flavor is enhanced by drying, and it is also delicious when roasted. This pepper is wonderful for mole sauce. The fruit ripens from green to brown and grows to 6" long by 3" wide.

Sowing Pepper Seeds

Start pepper seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4" deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 15".
