Pepper 'Neapolitan'

Neapolitan is the earliest pepper I've ever grown - perfect for northern climates. The fruits are 4" long and 2" wide. They ripen from yellow-green through orange to bright red when mature. They have rather thin walls and a sweet, mild flavor. Stake the plants to keep the fruits off the ground.

This Italian-American heirloom was introduced in 1904 by a New Jersey seed company.

Sowing Pepper Seeds

Start pepper seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4" deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 15".
