Poppy 'Amphora Snowflake'

Poppy 'Amphora Snowflake' has pure white, single blooms with a fringed edge. It's a beautiful poppy with a delicate appearance. It's nice for combining with other poppies to provide contrast and make their colors pop.

You may get an occasional bloom with a pink edge, since I isolated it from a batch of Amphora poppies. This is a rattlepod type with unvented pods that don't spill the seeds.

Sowing Poppy Seeds

Sow poppy seeds outdoors in early spring on the soil surface. In zones 8-11, sow in fall. Mix the seeds with sand before sowing for good coverage. Can be started indoors 6 weeks before the last frost date.
