Drama Queen poppy has frilly red petals with a purple-black center and contrasting white filaments. This stunning poppy is one of the most interesting varieties I have grown.

In 2020, we sold out of our home-grown seeds, so we bought commercial bulk seeds to supply the business. Unfortunately, the commercial supply had gone bad, and people were selling Hungarian Breadseed as Drama Queen. We haven't found a reputable source since then. Finally, we grew out the last packet of our original seeds, and here it is! Our video proves that it's the real thing.

Sowing Drama Queen Poppy Seeds

Sow poppy seeds outdoors in early spring, or fall in mild winter areas. Sow on the surface. Full sun.
