Poppy 'Giant Rattle'

'Giant Rattle' is a mixture of pink, white, and pale lavender poppies on tall stems. It is a rattlepod type with unvented pods that don't spill the seeds.

The dark blue seeds have an excellent flavor, making it a wonderful breadseed poppy. The plants are tall and vigorous, producing plenty of seeds for your culinary needs.

Sowing Poppy Seeds

Sow poppy seeds outdoors in early spring on the soil surface. In zones 8-11, sow in fall. Mix the seeds with sand before sowing for good coverage. Can be started indoors 6 weeks before the last frost date.
