'Hungarian Breadseed' poppy is an heirloom variety from Hungary that is prized for its mild-flavored, powder-blue seeds that are used in baking.
'Hungarian Breadseed' has single, deep purple flowers with dark blotches. The large, ornamental pods are good for dried flower arrangements. This ever-popular variety is also known as 'Hungarian Blue'.

Sowing Poppy Seeds
