Poppy 'Purple Frilly English'

'Purple Frilly English' poppy has bright purple flowers with large outer petals and lots of small, frilly petals around the center. The color is light purple at the edges, deepening to dark purple near the base.

The seeds for this unique poppy were collected by The Seed Ambassadors Project at the Seedy Sunday Seed Swap in Brighton, England.

Sowing Poppy Seeds

Sow poppy seeds outdoors in early spring on the soil surface. In zones 8-11, sow in fall. Mix the seeds with sand before sowing for good coverage. Can be started indoors 6 weeks before the last frost date.
