Poppy 'Red Parrot'

'Red Parrot' is a unique poppy with squarish blooms are very double and frilled. The petals are fiery red with a darker color near the base. It is a strong grower with consistent color and form.

Poppy 'Red Parrot' was was discovered in a patch of 'Feathered Mix'. It was introduced by Diane's Flower Seeds in 2026.

Sowing Poppy Seeds

Sow poppy seeds outdoors in early spring on the soil surface. In zones 8-11, sow in fall. Mix the seeds with sand before sowing for good coverage. Can be started indoors 6 weeks before the last frost date.
