Poppy 'The Giant' has single, salmon-pink flowers with a lavender base. It is primarily grown for the large seed pods, which are used in fresh or dried flower arrangements. It is also known as Florist Poppy.

In some climates, 'The Giant' poppy can grow up to 5 feet tall in rich soil. Self-sown plants are larger and more vigorous. It is a wonderful variety for cottage gardens.

Sowing Poppy Seeds
