Radish 'Watermelon'

Watermelon radish is best grown as a fall crop. The 4" root is pale green with a rose-red interior. It is sweet, crisp, and full of antioxidants.

This Chinese heirloom is also known as Beauty Heart or Chinese Red Meat radish.

Sowing Watermelon Radish Seeds

Sow outdoors in late summer to early fall. Barely cover the seeds with soil. Thin to 2" apart. Keep soil consistently moist. Full sun to part shade.
