Silene orientalis
Moss Campion

400 seeds
Silene orientalis blooms in early summer with clusters of hot pink flowers on top of narrow stems. It is a rare plant, but easy to grow.
The tall, bright pink flowers of Silene orientalis look stunning with blue flowers. It is shown here with Nigella damascena.
Silene orientalis is a biennial or short-lived perennial that self-sows in moderation. Mine has spread itself around the garden, where it looks lovely with the other June-blooming perennials and annuals.
