Squash 'Moranga'
95 days, Cucurbita maxima
$3.25
25 seeds
Moranga is a peachy-pink pumpkin with deep ribbing. It weighs 4 to 8 pounds and makes a cute decoration. It is not very productive, and the flesh is stringy, but it has a nice flavor that is good for pies and soups.
Moranga squash keeps for 3 to 4 months in storage. The vines are relatively short, making it a good choice for small gardens.
Heirloom from Brazil.
Sowing Squash Seeds
