Squash 'Sucrine du Berry'

Sucrine du Berry is a small butternut squash weighing 3-6 pounds. The dark green skin turns coppery-tan when ripe, although it may still retain some green color.

The sweet, deep orange flesh is good for many recipes, especially those that call for pureed squash. It stores for up to 6 months. The vines are pest- and disease-resistant.

Sowing Squash Seeds

Sow squash seeds outdoors after the last frost date, 1" deep. Sow in hills spaced 4-6' apart. Thin to 2 plants per hill. Full sun.
