Thalictrum aquilegifolium

Thalictrum aquilegifolium is a beautiful plant for the shade garden. The fluffy flowers bloom from May to July in shades of pink, purple, and white.

Columbine Meadow Rue gets its name from the shape of its leaves, which look like columbine plants. It is stunning when massed, but the individual plants are also very attractive.

Thalictrum aquilegifolium can be grown in full sun if given moist soil, but it is usually grown in part shade where it can tolerate a little more dryness.
